OPERATIONS

All meteorological information issued on a routinebasis and held by the

briefing office concerned is availablewithout prior notice. Eight (8) hours

notice is required for nonroutine forecasts (AIPGEN 3.5).

FORECAST FOR FLIGHTS - VALIDAREA FORECASTSNOTAVAILABLE

Route forecasts required for flights forwhich valid area forecasts arenot

availablewill be supplied subject to theprior notification specified below.

Notification should include part or all of the following information:

• departure aerodrome andETD;

• destination andETA;

• route;

• ETAs andETDs for intermediate stoppingplaces;

• alternate aerodrome and probableETAs;

• heights for upperwinds and temperatures;

• aerodrome(s) atwhich flight documentation is required; and

• timebriefing required (AIPGEN 3.5).
