AERODROME FORECASTS (TAF)

An aerodrome forecast (TAF) is a statement ofmeteorological conditions

expected for the specified period in the airspacewithin a radius of 5nm of

the centre of the aerodrome or runway complex.

TheTAF service provided is in accordancewith the airfield category, the

category of airfield being determined by the type and the amount of traffic

(AIPGEN 3.5).
