What we have here is a very slippery little airplane. Tandem seating with front seat solo. It has a low wing loading and a huge difference between the manouvering speed and the sorts of speeds that can be very quickly attained doing aerobatics.

Whilst the Chipmonk and Tigermoth I learned to aerobat just love to be spun, I sence an unease when RV owners discuss spinning generally and flick manouevers especially.

I am a technician by proffession and like to understand the equipment I operate from both the theoretical specifications and the "hands on" feel.

I intend to flesh out the CPL performance / Weight and Balance theory with a thorough going analysis of the RV - 4 as a study example.

Any input would be welcome.

Regards

Mark
