Hey ... I’m currently working on exercise 5.1 on p 137 of performance book... when the question states... fuel at take off... would that just be my trip fuel , plus my fixed reserve.? As I’ve technically used my taxi fuel?

Yes.

CAAP 234 defines taxi fuel as "the amount of fuel expected to be used prior to take-off". For "expected" read "planned".
So the planned/expected fuel at takeoff will exclude the taxi fuel but include all other flight-related fuel.
