I have just recently made the decision to pursue the long dream like everyone else of becoming a pilot. My goal is to become a commercial helicopter pilot and I have first planned to study the three subjects CNAV, CMET and CHUF which are common to both H and A. I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but am I able to jump strait into the commercial exams, pass all 7 and do my hours? Or do I need to get a student or recreation pilot license first? Thanks in advance!
You'll need a RPL to be able to sit the CPL exams that's a CASA, requirement other than that you can do the CPL exams it's a steep learning curve starting off with no background.
