Hi just want to confirm that in level flight,

Maximum Lift/drag ratio speed (around 4 degree AoA) = Minimum total drag speed = Minimum thrust speed = Speed for best miles per gallon = Best glide speed = Maximum Still air Range.

In level flight the amount of lift required is not negotiable - It must be equal to weight. It follows that if lift is fixed, the lift/drag ratio must be at a maximum when drag is at a minimum. When drag is at a minimum, the thrust required is also at a minimum since thrust must equal drag in straight and level flight. For conventional aerofoils, wind tunnel tests show that drag is at a minimum at one particular angle of attack (about 4° for most conventional aerofoils).

The original question was referring to range as the distance an aircraft can fly with a given quantity of fuel on board - basic Newtonian physics. Your reply seems to be referring to the range of a radio navigation aid-a very different concept.
