New CASA publications for ATPL candidates. (25 Sep 2025)

These changes affect ATPL candidates only - They do not apply to CPL candidates.

The following CASA publications for CASA's ATPL examinations are currently available for download from
www.casa.gov.au/updates-handbook-and-exam-information-books.

ATPL (Aeroplane) Exam Information Book - Version 2.8
ATPL (Helicopter) Exam Information Book - Version 3.0
S76 - Performanace and Operation Handbook

There are NO significant changes to these publications except for terminology.
ETP replaces CP,
Contingency Fuel replaces Variable Reserve and
Final reserve Fuel replaces Fixed Reserve.

Hi all just started my journey to a CPL H license out of Archerfield and I'm 4 hours in and 1/7 test down and currently studying MET ill be sure to be checking these forums out as they helped with my first exam!
