hi Bob/Team

I be have a KDR for rhumb lines, small circles and great circles.

I had a question in the test today, which said something along the lines of what would radio waves be called or take the form of? Something like that. The answers were:

1. Rhumb lines
2. Great circle
3. Small circle
4. Galvanic

Is the answer great circles because radio waves travel in straight lines?

Assuming they were talking about VHF but didn’t reference?

Hi Monica

Your correct Radio waves spread out in a straight line in all directions from the source and can only follow a great circle path.

(or take the shortest path) There is a question about it Progress test 1 on page 31.
