Hi Bob,

While working through Exercise 4.6 in your CPL Performance textbook, I couldn't quite get the same figure for question number 4 (in the table).
LITRES
166
US GALLONS
43.7
KILOGRAMS
119.5 (I can get to this, but then it would be 43.9 US GALLONS instead)

Just wondering if there was something obvious that I was missing! Also, should I be using 3.8 or 3.78 (USG to LTRS) for intermediate workings.

The conversion figures to use are the ones from ERSA CON. That's 3.8 for gallons to litres and 2.72 for gallons to kg. However you will get slight variations, for example, depending on whether you go from gallons to kg or from to gallons to litres then to kg. CASA can't argue if you use the conversion factors in ERSA CON.
