Conflicting final reserve policy’s

Hi guys,
I’m struggling with a few fuel related questions specifically ones where min fuel is to be used as i believe there is conflicting information on which fuel policy I should be following.

On page 12 of the supplement it states that the “company fuel policy” is to have a final reserve of 30 min @20gal/hr (10gal) but also states that “for the sake of exercises in this book the fuel reserves and allowances for echo aeroplane should be done according to the instructions on page 14 unless specified”
Page 14 states “final reserve is 45min @20gal/hr (15gal)

I have been using the 15 gal final reserve for most questions but getting them wrong as they are using 10 gal final reserve?

Am I missing something?

Any help is appreciated.

Have you been checking the classification of the flight ie: "Private or Air Transport" that's a common gotcha.

If you could let me know what questions your attempting I could comment more.
